Lothar Schmid est né en 1953 en Suisse. Il a commencé sa carrière en 1973 chez Elle France. Aujourd’hui il travaille à Paris et à New York. Il collabore avec Marie Claire, Vogue, GQ, New York Times, Yves St. Laurent, Guerlain et Vichy.
